    Before we get to the changelog we have an announcement to make:

    Announcing the Exploit Hunters!


    We’re still in the early days of our Early Access adventure and there is a lot work left to be done before final release of Conan Exiles in Q1 2018. The feedback we receive from you, the community, is invaluable to us in making sure we improve gameplay, squish bugs, and solve issues ahead of that final release.

    One of the most important things we can do to make sure Conan Exiles provides a fair and balanced playing field is making sure we eliminate exploits as early as possible.

    To help us with that we will soon be introducing the Exploit Hunters program. Here we will be rewarding players who provide us with information about the most serious exploits. With your help, we will be better equipped to handle potential future exploits which can destabilize servers and avoid the need for server wipes after serious cheating by catching them early.

    We will be providing more information and details on the Exploit Hunters program next week.

    Server Wipes
    • We are wiping all buildings on official non-blitz servers due to recent exploits (private servers are unaffected by this)
    • We are wiping all inventories (player backpack, containers etc) due to recent exploits (private servers unaffected by this)
    • We are keeping player character levels (but you get a free re-spec) due to feat changes discussed in TLDR below. Please give us feedback on these changes.
    • Server admins on private servers may perform a building and inventory wipe which keeps character levels by using the ServerCleanup.bat file in the gamedb folder to clean the current game database

    TL;DR (Patch Highlights)
    • NEW FEATURE: Ruins (decay) system! Cleans up old buildings over time. It is disabled by default on private servers and enabled by default on Official servers
    • NEW FEATURE: Dye System! Gather pigments and make all kinds of dyes in the Firebowl Cauldron to color your armor!

    Server Settings
    • Added a serversetting to modify how quickly thralls get converted (thrall crafting time multiplier)
    • Added a serversetting so all containers can be interacted with irrespective of ownership (containers ignore all ownership)
    • Added serversetting to modify NPC health also affects Thralls (NPC damage taken multiplier)
    • Added serversetting to modify the rate at which machines consume fuel (fuel burn time multiplier)
    • Added serversetting PlayerDamageTakenMultiplier

    Text and Localization
    • Language choice should now save correctly
    • Added various localized text throughout the game

    General Bug Fixes and Improvements
    • EXPLOIT FIX: You can no longer build inside cliffs or mountains
    • EXPLOIT FIX: Buildings will never spawn outside the curse wall
    • EXPLOIT FIX: You can no longer duplicate equipped armor pieces off of unconscious player bodies
    • EXPLOIT FIX: Fixed a case where you could fall through the landscape and gain access to other parts of the map

    Balance and Gameplay Fixes
    • Equip animation no longer overrides knockdown
    • You can now craft the Hyena fur armor at the armorers bench if an armorer thrall is present
    • Hyena fur armor requires Bone.
    • When last clan member leaves a clan, they take ownership of all clan buildings
    • Clan officers can no longer kick other officers. You can only kick players below you in rank from the clan
    • Harvesting cactus with bare hands now gives plant fiber and cochineal
    • Changed feat requirements and removed dependencies, added bonus knowledge points every 10 levels
    • Free feat respec when opening the feat GUI first time after this patch!

    Visual Improvements
    • Players now see name tags of clan members in green text
    • Cleaned up and aligned the settings GUI
    • Thralls are now properly animated when working at crafting stations
    • Name tags stay longer onscreen and have become easier to read

    Known issues
    • We are aware that some NPCs do not respawn correctly if players build too close. This will be fixed in the next patch.
    • We are aware of a stamina usage exploit. The fix will be rolled out with the next patch
    • Due to packaging the install files into .pak archives there is a 15-20 min wait once the client is downloaded before you can launch the game as the files unpack. This will only be the case for this patch.
    • When removing buildings that have become abandoned, in rare cases it is not possible to build on the same spot. If you leave and rejoin the server it should be possible to build again.
    • On local play if you use dyes on an equipped armor piece you must re-equip it before the color change becomes visible

    Server Settings
    • Added a server setting to modify the rate at which players gain corruption

    • ServerSetting "FriendlyFireDamageMultiplier" if enabled no longer prevents players from taking fall damage
    • Setting MOTD through console now supports inclusion of URLs

    • Added text for all new weapons, dyes and the Dogs of the Desert armor set

    Known issues
    • If you have a Thrall in your inventory when trying to dye an item, your game client will crash. This will be fixed in the next patch

    In this update we're also switching over the server settings on some of our PvP Blitz servers. Starting today we're disabling avatars on the following servers:

    You can now explore the dark and mysterious Dregs in the Exiled Lands

    Explore the all new dungeon – The Dregs!
    The Exiled Lands are filled with dark caves and mysterious ruins, but now you get a brand-new dungeon to challenge your adventuring urges!

    A massive and ancient aqueduct leads water from the mountains down to the Unnamed city. A vast sewer system was built to carry the city’s refuge and waste into the southern river system. Ages ago, dark and dangerous sorcerous experiments were performed in the Unnamed city, and their remnants and leftovers were also flushed down into the tunnels beneath the city.

    The Unnamed city fell into ruin long ago, and now only dark and terrible creatures wander its cursed streets. But something malevolent and powerful also lurks in the shadowy sewers beneath the city. Disturbing whispers can be heard in the deep tunnels – whispers which call on you to explore deeper and deeper.

    Do you dare to enter? Dare explore the dank sewers in search for power and glory? In ancient times, slaves got the horrendous task of cleaning and clearing out this horrible place shrouded in eternal darkness. It became known as The Dregs.

    Delve deep
    A beastly ritual is needed to open the dungeon, and a spiral staircase will lead you down into the darkness below.

    You must fight your way through all new albino komodos, who have grown strong in the unnatural waters from the city above. The undead also dwell in this place, making any place which is filled with the corrupting powers of dark magic their home.

    The sewers have a series of valves and levers which can flood certain chambers. This was used by the slaves so they could clean the tunnels, but it is now your task to navigate these obstacles and figure out the mechanics needed to advance from chamber to chamber.

    Something far more dangerous than komodos and undead has made this place its home though. If you can brave the challenges and solve the puzzles you will eventually come face to face with the grotesque and insidious being called the Abysmal Remnant.

    Emerging from its fetid pool, this massive creature will attack with sprays of lethal acid and bite with crunching jaws filled with huge teeth.

    The monster may be daunting and tough, but if you are able to defeat it great rewards await.

    New gear and recipes
    The Dregs offers both new challenges and new rewards. By exploring the dungeon, you will learn new recipes and discover new resources. The dungeon is very dark, so you will need torches, but the sewers are also filled with water which snuffs the torches out.

    In The Dregs you can find a new type of resource and recipe which allows you to make glowing sticks which do not get extinguished by water.

    You can also learn how to make a new type of armor from the hides of reptiles, like crocodiles and komodos. This is a medium armor and you will learn the new recipes for it in The Dregs.

    We are however introducing a new system for making medium armor (the system will follow later for light and heavy). You will now also need to know how to make the padding or lining for the armor (something which the regular medium armor recipes now teach you), before you choose which type of medium armor you want to make. Think of it like making a frame for the armor before choosing the type of outer layer.

    You can find a new sword and dagger plus new sets of bolts and arrows in The Dregs. The dungeon is made for early to mid-level characters (between 10 and 20), but with all the new recipes and rewards, it can be well worth it for any level character to make a visit.

    A faint whisper is calling on you to enter The Dregs. Are you ready for what awaits in the darkness?

    8 минута, рассказывают о перках. Каждые 10 очков в атрибут открывают перк. //имхо, перки ребаланснут игру сильнее, чем все что они сделали раньше за год ЕА.

    11 минута механика новой боёвки. Оружие теперь имеет комбо (легкие и тяжелые), плюс усилен менеджмент стамины.

    16 минута - механика доджей

    18 минута таргет лок

    23 минута - переработанная булава (mace). Механика отлична от меча, булава медленней, но способна пробивать блок.

    25:20 новая фишка, удар ногой (вместо удара оф-хендом)

    31 кинжалы, эффект кровотечения. Удары серии, начиная со второго, накладывают эффект кровотечения (bleeding), последний удар накладывает эффект тарвмы (crippled). В качестве доджа - бэк флип - отход на дальнюю дистанцию. А вот i-frame (окно неуязвимости во время доджа), как я понял нет. Кинжалы работают за счет стаков кровотека.

    33 минута - одежда заморийского вора -))

    41 минута двуручный молот. Медленный, но его атаки нельзя прервать. Новый эффект на пробитие брони

    Ветка Strength: Thuggery – concussive-урон от дубинки увеличивается на 100%, Salting the Wound - вы наносите на 25% больше повреждений врагам, на которых висит негативный эффект, Slice and Dice - ваши слабые атаки наносят на 10% больше повреждений, Brutal Strikes - сильные удары наносят на 25% больше урона, Blood-mad Berserler - если здоровье персонажа упадет ниже 25%, то тогда он начнет наносить на 50% больше урона в ближнем бою.

    Ветка Agility: Iron Endurance – бег тратит на 25% меньше выносливости, Cat-like – урон от падения снижен в два раза, Effortless Leap – прыжки больше не расходую выносливость, Nimble Tumbler – увертка стоит на 25% меньше выносливости, Extended Leap – двойной прыжок.

    Ветка Vitality: Deep Breath – вы можете в два раза дольше находиться под водой, Impervious – температурные эффекты хуже действуют на вас, Fierce Vitality – вы получаете пассивную регенерацию здоровья, Receptive – на 100% увеличивается лечащий эффект от танцоров и предметов, Bronzed Physique – герой получает на 20% меньше повреждений.

    Ветка Accuracy: Steady Hands – урон от оружия дальнего боя увеличен на 25%, Trick Shot – ваши стрелы рикошетят от поверхностей, Eye of Injury – стрелы накладывают на цель эффект cripple, Crevice in the Armor – на 50% увеличивает показатель пробития брони, Shafted – хедшоты наносят на 50% больше урона.

    Ветка Grit: Strong Grip – во время “карабканья” по поверхностям вы тратите на 10% меньше выносливости, Barbaric Tenacity – быстрее восстанавливается выносливость, Iron-hard Muscles – какая-то форма устойчивости к повреждениям, Fluid Swings – базовые атаки больше не расходуют выносливость, Endless Runner – бег больше не расходует выносливость.

    Ветка Survival: Raw and Bloody – сырое мясо теперь не накладывает на вас яд, Hard Worker – вы в два раза быстрее собирается ресурсы из нодов, Efficient Butchery – из животных собирается больше материалов, Gluttonous Gains – еда теперь считается за лечащие зелья, Antidote of One – иммунитет к ядам и болезням.

    Ветка Encumbrance: Balance and Counterbalance – при перевесе вы наносите на 10% больше повреждений (но если персонаж не нагружен, то тогда при ударах расходуется на 10% меньше выносливости), Sure-footed – на вас нельзя положить эффект замедления, Grounded – у вашего персонажа есть 50% шанс проигнорировать эффект опрокидывания, Pack Mule – на 50% увеличится грузоподъемность, заключительный перк – неизвестен.

    В новом выпуске дневников разработчиков компания Funcom поздравила игроков survival-проекта Conan Exiles с Днем святого Валентина и сообщила о том, что игра ушла на золото. Gold Build уже отправлен в Microsoft и Sony для сертификации, так что проект уже на финишной прямой и уверенным шагом движется к релизу. Тем временем количество тестеров Conan Exiles было увеличено, чтобы снизить количество ошибок и багов при старте.

    Последнюю неделю студия работала над новым контентом и функциями в усиленном режиме. Так, команда, названная Monster Hunters и состоящая из одного дизайнера и трёх аниматоров, занималась фауной, населяющей игровой мир. Монстры и животные должны быть готовы к новой боевой системе не меньше игроков, а поэтому получили обновленную анимацию атаки.

    Тем временем, большая часть команды Terraformers занималась обновлением функции разблокировки рецептов оружия и доспехов. Разработчики постарались достичь баланса между различной экипировкой. Так, на 10 уровне вы сможете разблокировать «Armorer» Feat и получить рецепты лёгкой, средней и тяжелой брони. Далее, каждые десять уровней у вас также будет возможность получить рецепты дополнительных архетипов брони, которые не будут существенно отличаться от самого первого набора. Однако при достижении 60 уровня игрокам станет доступен Epic Armors. Выучив его, вы получите возможность создавать эпические версии любой экипировки.

    Оружие, в свою очередь, будет разделяться на три основные категории: Воин, Брузер и Лучник. Например, разблокировка стигийского хопеша на 16 уровне не потребует вкладывать очки в разблокировку мечей, а железный топор на 28 уровне не нуждается в изучении всей предыдущей ветви рецептов. Легендарное оружие можно будет найти в определенных сундуках на карте, ключи к которым находятся у боссов. При поломке такое орудие можно будет чинить привычным способом.

    Команде Berserkers тоже удалось плодотворно поработать. Среди прочего, им удалось изменить механику стрельбы из лука. Теперь они будут более приятными в использовании. Выстрелы теперь имеют несколько другую траекторию, что позволяет стрелам пролететь большее расстояние. Игроки смогут целиться вручную, чтобы сделать хедшот или поразить какую-нибудь важную часть тела, однако если эта функция вам не нужна, можно просто заблокировать свою цель и стрелять в тело, а не в голову или ноги. Эта механика сделает вас более точными, но не всегда будет полезна.
